Most of drainage bottom is acid cove with hemlock, birch, tuliptree, white pine, etc... Over giant rhododendron. Allegheny trail runs at bottom of slope.;Steep SE aspect slope with a youngish forest dominated by white oak mixed with other oaks, but stand is not typical white pine - oak / heath which is abundant in the vicinity. Diverse herb layer and medium acid soil are signs of soil enrichment.
